Beatfreak has been playing all forms of House as a DJ since 2002. For 15 years he was the Resident DJ in Kiel's Luna Club. In 2006 he founded the sound system "delik8" together with DJ Say Clap, and he's played numerous evenings, parties and festivals in northern Germany, from Hamburg to Flensburg, and all the way down to Cape Town.

Founding member of Soulfoodcrew, which since 1997 has made a name for itself with the SOULFOOD party series in Lübeck and Kiel (post 2000) and beyond the borders of northern Germany. The Soulfoodcrew sound is characterised by a mixture of Funk and Soul with Latin breaks and Hip Hop. Soulutz tells stories in his DJ sets. He loves combining different styles and integrating ever new sounds, transcending genre borders and joining Swing or Rhythm & Blues songs from the 50s with Pop or Rock from today. His medium is vinyl, 7 inch preferred.
